Disabled Advocates made of Elderly and Non Disabled Disability Advocates, Advocating Systems Change for Accessible and Affordable Housing, Jobs, and Affordable Healthcare, Through the Power of Their Votes and the Rights Empowered to us by the Olmstead Decision!  DAC also helped lead the way in having Virginia become the first state to offer an official state apology to eugenic victims.

DAC 4 Virginia

Disabled Action Committee

"We shall never cower down to the bureaucracy, but we will rise to challenge the archaic laws that need to be amended. Together as 'one' large group of people, with or without disability, we will demand and receive responsible representation by our elected Representatives.  No more will we be treated as third rate citizens in a first rate country. Today is the beginning of our new tomorrow, lest we rise to the occasion and gather our strength through each other.  United we will win, divided we will fail.  Not only for ourselves, but for all  future generations to come."

Keith Kessler - Founder of DAC

DAC ENDORSED, TIM KAINE, WINS GOVERNOR IN VIRGINIA FOR 2006
DAC has endorsed the 2nd Candidate in a row that we've picked to win the Virginia Governor's seat. The politicians may have doubted us 4 years ago but there's no doubting us now. Our "collective" voices have rang out loud and clear and proved once again that we can change an election. "It's not the money silly, it's our VOTES" that help you win. Main Page Statement

More organizations have UNITED with DAC's premise of putting our collective voting strength over thousands of people strong in Virginia and growing DAILY with millions nationwide & worldwide. The elderly - disabled and non-disabled people are uniting as they now realize our collective strength is essential in getting and/or retaining the delivery of health care services.  So lets keep uniting, and NOT disbanding any groups, because our strength lies in the numbers from ALL of our groups together.  With the various disability groups and senior organizations along with the non disabled that want more than a change, but a "difference," it will happen as we commit to make these changes with our VOTES!

You do NOT need to post your name when joining, but "PLEASE" furnish your email address and put "subscribe" in your email header to "dac4va@aol.com"
